What is HanoiStack?

HanoiStack (hanoistack.com) is a small, independent website offering free math thinking games and daily brain puzzles — a playable Tower of Hanoi, sudoku, killer sudoku, sumplete, futoshiki, picross, and a set of original number puzzles like Make the Number, Math Maze, Make 10 Game, Cryptarithm and Balance Scale Puzzle. Everything is free to play in your browser: no download, no account, no paywall.

Who owns and runs this site

HanoiStack is an independently owned and operated website, run by its owner as a personal project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a copy of any other puzzle site, app or company. The domain hanoistack.com, the site, and everything published on it are owned and maintained by the site's operator.

Our content is our own

Every part of this site — the game code, the puzzle generators, the design, and all of the articles and guides — was written and built from scratch by us. We do not copy, scrape or republish content from other websites.

Some games are our own original inventions. Others, like sudoku, futoshiki, picross and Tower of Hanoi, are classic puzzles that belong to the public domain of mathematics — but our implementations, layouts, explanations and text are entirely our own work. If you believe any content on this site infringes your rights, please contact us and we will look into it promptly.

Free, and free of clutter

We keep the site deliberately simple: no mid-game ads, no sign-ups, no tracking. Your streaks and best scores are stored locally in your own browser — see our Privacy Policy for details. Daily puzzles are seeded from the date, so everyone around the world gets the same puzzle each day.
