Welcome to HanoiStack (hanoistack.com, "the site"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the site. By using the site you agree to these Terms. The service

HanoiStack provides free-to-play math thinking games and daily puzzles in your web browser. The service is offered free of charge, "as is", for personal, non-commercial use. You do not need an account to play.

Ownership of the site and its content

This website is our own independent work. All content and code on the site — including the game implementations, puzzle generators, page design, graphics, text, articles and guides — is created by us and owned by us, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. We do not copy content from other websites or apps.

Note that some games are implementations of classic, public-domain puzzles (such as sudoku, futoshiki, picross and Tower of Hanoi). The underlying puzzle concepts belong to no one — but our specific implementations, our original game designs, and all of the text on this site are ours and are not public domain.

What you may and may not do

You may: play the games for free, personally share your own puzzle results (for example the text a "Share" button copies for you), and link to any page of the site.

You may not:

• copy, scrape, republish, mirror or redistribute the site's content, code, puzzles or design, in whole or in part, without our prior written permission;
• use the site's content to train machine-learning models or as source material for a competing site or app;
• represent the site or its content as your own work;
• interfere with the site's operation, attempt to breach its security, or impose an unreasonable load on it;
• use the site for any unlawful purpose.

No warranties

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time. Daily puzzles are generated by software and, like any software, may contain errors.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising from or relating to your use of the site — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Changes to the site and these Terms

We may update the site and these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
